EZ Services is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you register and use the platform, including your name, email, phone number, address and service areas, business details (for providers, such as company name and ABN), booking and chat activity, reviews, and payment-related information. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to create and manage your account, match customers with providers, process bookings and payments, enable messaging, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve the platform.
4. Disclosure
We share necessary information between customers and providers to fulfil a booking (for example, a customer's address is shared with the assigned provider). We use trusted third-party processors such as Stripe (payments) and infrastructure providers. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data security & retention
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law.
6. Your rights
Under the APPs, you may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. You may also delete your account from your profile settings. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
7. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.
