Terms & Conditions

EZ Services ("EZ", "we", "us", "our") operates an online marketplace that connects customers seeking services with independent service providers across Australia. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and nothing in them limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use EZ Services. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

EZ Services is a facilitator only. Service providers are independent contractors and are not employees or agents of EZ. We do not provide the services listed and are not a party to the contract formed between a customer and a provider for a booking. Providers are responsible for holding all licences, insurances and registrations required to perform their services in their state or territory.

When you book or accept a quote, a binding agreement is formed between the customer and the provider. Payments are processed securely via Stripe and may be held in escrow until a job is confirmed complete by both parties. Platform fees and commissions are disclosed at the time of the transaction. Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Cancellation and refund outcomes depend on the status of a booking and any dispute raised. Where a service is not delivered with due care and skill, or is not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. Disputes may be submitted through the platform for review.

Providers must perform services professionally, comply with all applicable Australian laws and workplace health & safety requirements, and honour the pricing, availability and service areas they publish. EZ may suspend or remove listings that breach these Terms.

You may post reviews and content that are truthful and lawful. You must not post misleading, defamatory, or infringing content. We may moderate or remove content that breaches these Terms.

To the extent permitted by law, EZ is not liable for the acts or omissions of providers or customers. Our liability for any breach of a consumer guarantee that cannot be excluded is limited, where permitted, to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
